Baking an Argentine Torta

Big One-Oh Chapter summary

Charley had another memory. When he was 7, Charley wanted to have a B-DAY so he did. He wanted do go back stage and see the Lion King the musical so he was on his way with his two friends. One girl was named Juliet. The other one was a boy. When Charlie’s mom drove then he was in a very big hurry to go to the show. Juliet was getting a headache and so she threw up in the car. Then a cop on a motorcycle turned in its lights because he saw that she was speeding and she had to pull over. Then when the cop was coming over Mom was crying and crying. Then she got the license out of her wallet and gave it to him. Then the cop took pity on her because he saw the girl puking in the back seat. Then they went over and missed the show.

No Luck for Subway

We were on our way to the most popular restaurant in Buenos Aires. Then bad luck struck. When we got to the subway in side it was packed. It was so packed I saw a girl’s cheek smashed against to window. It was very full. When we had to wait the 3d stop because it was full mom said “ok I have a plane we are going to fight our way in we will push we will shove and we will live!!!! We had finally got in. I was so squished that I was going to die on the 2d stop like 12 more people got in. how did they get in not cool. It was very crowded by stomach was getting blocked I had a very hard time breathing I was suffocating I said “ mom help I cant breath. When we got off at our stop we went to the restaurant it was very yummy in my tummy yum then we went home and hear I am writing so that’s it for now.

Expirientol science museum

We went to the Expirientol Science museum of Buenos Aires .it was very inturesting. We saw a very big sculpture of an illusion. We had seen a small chair. I sat on it. They strapped me in and they made me old 7 pound weights they had spun me round and round and. They told me if I wanted to go slower I would bring my arms out with the waits and I would go slow. If I ware to bring my arms in I would bring my arm’s in and I would go a lot faster it was very nauseating. When they had got me out of the barfing chair I felt like I was going to hurl. We looked around for other thing and then we went home and made some jello and then took a nap by by.

Writing from a Picture

I have a picture of a lady that has 20 dogs on a leash. It looks like she is struggling with them. Man, it would be hard to take care of 20 dogs. It looks like she is a dog sitter. I think she needs some help. What I think she is thinking is that she is vary frustrated, and what I think the dogs are thinking is, ”Walk us, lady. I need to meet my owner in an hour!” So she could use not one hand but 19 hands.

Sock puppet - art class

Paloma, on her own, wanted to make a sock puppet. Her brother is out of socks now, but she knows how to do simple stitching and make a doll! We even sewed a small outfit for her!
